Service 1 – Medical Billing and Collection Service
We manage the billing and collection process, from the raising of the initial invoice through to the collection and banking of your money into your nominated bank account:
Preparing medical invoices:
No-Gap billing to all health funds. We encourage No-Gap billing for private patients (direct to the health funds) where there is no out-of-pocket charge to the patient. However, we can also bill for outpatients and known gap payments.
Direct billing to your patients.
Invoicing directly to Department of Veteran Affairs, Medicare Australia workers compensation and transport accident insurers.
Mailing invoices and statements.
Receipting payments.
Banking of monies received.
Following up on all unpaid accounts.
Submitting reports to the practitioner.
Handling all patient billing queries.
Monthly accounts reports tailored to your needs.
Register you with the health fund gap cover schemes.
Register you for Medicare online services, or transfer if already registered.
Quarterly reports at the end of each BAS period.
Liaise personally with you on a regular basis.

Service 2 – Informed Financial Consent
EziBill can provide your patients with an estimate of your fees and their likely out-of-pocket expenses. This is known as Informed Financial Consent.
EziBill has access to the THELMA service to enable it to electronically confirm the health insurance coverage and financial status of your patients.
